I'd wondered if you were going to write out her birth story, as her birth poem was so powerful. I'm glad you did this, for yourself and for Julianna someday. Wonder when I'll get around to Ronan's?? Truth be told, I don't know if I even WANT to write the whole thing out. We'll see. Anyhow, loved this. Needless to say I ate every word of this right up. I can't wait to hear more. I also vacuumed to kill time before the midwives arrived (and then things got crazy). I was thinking to myself "I wish I'd jotted down notes" and then realized there was no way I could have because things got intense fast. Next time, I'll make sure to have a doula... I had a friend who was going to help out, but I neglected to call him once things got crazy. I hadn't wanted him to come over too soon and be bored, and then never made it back to the phone. Like I said, next time I'll hire a doula...let that be a lesson to other folks, lol. I’m so glad you’ve posted this. I can’t wait to hear more. Your 19 pager story of Bella's birth inspired me to write up my birth stories for baby #2 and #3 as quickly as I could. I wanted to savor every memory later. I wrote them quickly so I'd have as many details as I could. I am so glad you found your notes. Maybe your story will inspire me to publish my stories on the blog. I haven't wanted to....
