What she said.2

My dear Leigh just wrote about a topic I have been mulling over in my head for some time. Reading the news reports on Gardasil with increasting alarm, I had started thinking about the larger implications of the latest vaccine mandate. Thankfully, Leigh so perfectly articulated many of my key concerns, that I am saved from having to write the post myself.

Go read. Especially for those of us who are mothering little girls, this is too important to ignore.

  1. Thanks for linking to that. My little girl is only 2 1/2, so I have a few years before I have to make a decision, but I’ve been having reservations about it ever since I first heard about it. It feels better to know I’m not the only one.

  2. I’ve been working on a research project specifically about the marketing of Gardasil and was happy to see you link to that :) This http://www.nvic.org/PressReleases/PR081507HPV.htm came out a couple of days ago and it also made me gasp. Whatever anyone’s personal decision regarding vaccination is, I agree that we all should have access to all of the information.
