Sorry for relying on photos lately, very little time to sit, let alone write. Just had to share this one - this is Julianna’s typical happy face - it never fails to make me smile (especially because she often does this rather snort-like nose breathing thing at the same time). Gotta love this girl, so full of joy and full of life.
Just got back from a fabulous weekend in Ojai with the divine and wonderful goddessess known as mb and Leigh. I’ve got a ton of photos to go through, and a ton to write about, but I’m also dealing with a killer stomach flu right now, so I’ll just post one pic for now, of the three of us relaxing in a park in Ojai.

Her hair is very light, so it doesn’t show up as well as it could - but this is how it always looks. It is actually getting cuter, as the sides are now getting long enough to stick out, while the middle section in the front is getting long enough to lie down flat. I think I’ll be dissapointed when her hair starts behaving.
She inherited this hair from Sam - who is so devoted to his VO5 hair cream that I tease him about being like George Clooney’s character in “O Brother Where Art Thou”…looks like Julianna will eventually need to find herself a tin of Dapper Dan Pomade.
Sure looks like they both had a hard night - doesn’t it?
Important Note: Jules is wearing her very first advocacy t-shirt….a gift from Anna. It says “Human milk for baby humans. Cow milk for baby cows.” A lactivist at 8 months!

Okay, so it seems my ability to write meaningful posts is somewhat limited these days. I still manage to take quite a few pictures, so I thought I’d start a separate photoblog so I can share pictures with you more regularly. I’ve scanned and uploaded a bunch tonight, and I’ve got some more to do tomorrow. Right now I’m currently limited by the lack of a good digital camera, so there will likely be a delay between uploads, as I want to finish a film and get it developed. I am researching digital SLR cameras right now (any suggestions?), so as soon as I decide which one to purchase the pics should get posted more regularly.
